10 Actors Who Can Replace Jonathan Majors As Kang The Conqueror

The shocking assault allegations of Jonathan Majors have finally reached their conclusion, as the jury found him guilty of physical assault and harassment in the latest trial. Following the decision, Marvel Studios also announced that they have parted ways with Majors not long after, leaving Kang the Conqueror and his variants’ fate hanging by a thread.
As of now, the studio has two viable options: they can either rewrite the whole Phase 5 storyline by replacing Kang with another villain, or just simply recast the role. Fans believe Boyega is the perfect candidate to play Kang, as he’s still relatively young, and already starred in a big action franchise in Star Wars. The only downside is that the actor doesn’t seem that interested in joining the MCU.

Regé-Jean Page’s name rose to fame with his breakout role as Simon in Netflix’s Bridgerton, landing him many more significant roles in Hollywood. The British performer definitely has the look and the charm to play Kang, and given Marvel’s reputation as a perfect launchpad for rising stars, Page should definitely have a place on this list.

Abdul-Mateen II is no stranger to playing a villain in a superhero movie, having portrayed Black Manta in 2018 Aquaman. The actor will also reprise the role as the DC villain in the upcoming sequel: Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. However, in the MCU, Abdul-Mateen II can have a much more important role by playing Nathaniel Richards.

Hodge has the look to play Kang, and he’s quite familiar with the superhero genre as well.

However, as Peele is busy with his own movie projects, it’s hard to see him joining the MCU any time soon.

Will Smith’s presence in the MCU could help restore the franchise to its golden era status, especially if the actor gets to play the infamous Kang the Conqueror.

Now, we all know that Iwuji is already in the MCU, nailing the role of the High Evolutionary in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. However, some theories suggest that the High Evolutionary could be a Kang variant, and it’s a perfect chance to bring back the beloved Iwuji after Jonathan Majors is gone. This scenario may seem a bit too ambitious, but who knows?
