Tom Holland Reveals The MCU Movie He Rewatches The Most With Zendaya

It’s not uncommon for Marvel fans to rewatch their favorite MCU titles once in a while, and Tom Holland is no different. The British actor has been with the MCU for almost a decade now, portraying the fan-favorite Peter Parker/Spider-Man. During his time with Marvel, Holland also builds a beautiful relationship with his co-star Zendaya, who stars alongside him in multiple MCU projects.
And just like any other guy his age, Holland is a huge Marvel fan, and he often revisits some of the best entries of the franchise, including the ones that he takes part in. Recently, the actor sat down and talked about the MCU title he likes to rewatch the most, and with his girlfriend Zendaya, of course. And here’s why.

Unlike some actors who don’t feel comfortable rewatching their own Movies, Tom Holland doesn’t have any problems doing so. Speaking with Extra, the 27-year-old emphasized how he’s absolutely OK with watching his old works.
"I definitely watch my stuff. I sometimes think I am my best critic. I really, like, know what it is that I can do, and sometimes I will see something and go, 'Damn! I could have pushed more there.' Really, once something has come out, I kind of leave it to bed,” said an enthusiastic Holland.

The actor also revealed that he and Zendaya, his long-time girlfriend, would often rewatch Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, to reminisce about their first filming experience together. The 2017 movie marks the first standalone movie for Holland and Peter Parker himself in the MCU, and it’s also Zendaya’s debut in the cinematic universe.
"Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch [Spider-Man: Homecoming] and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again. I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special," Holland professed.
"It's such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth. [...] I wouldn’t be the man I am today without that job,” he concluded, expressing his gratitude for having starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Both Tom Holland and Zendaya starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming when they were just 19 years old. While Holland plays the protagonist of the film, the latter only appears at the end as the new transfer student, Michelle-Jones Watson, an original character created by Marvel Studios. The two’s relationship blooms in Spider-Man: Far From Home two years later.
And, just like in the movie, Holland and Zendaya’s romance also blossomed as they co-star together, and the two officially came out as a couple in 2021. The two quickly became one of the most popular Hollywood young couples, and their relationship is still going strong to this day. Holland and Zendaya are shown to have great dynamics, and often have fun interactions with each other in public.
