Worried about the coming cold weather, Ezra quickly reached out to Little Wanderers NYC for help.

"We were overwhelmed (with rescues) but could not let this one go by—especially knowing that a snowstorm was on its way," Stephanie Tulien, President of Little Wanderers, shared.

Even though they were busy, the rescue volunteers, Camey and Frank, immediately set traps to save the feline family. Later, their patience paid off, and they successfully rescued the cat mom, Scarlett, and her three kittens.

After a visit to the vet for treatment, the family was safe. Little Wanderers shared the good news on Instagram, expressing relief that four lives were saved from a potentially bad situation.

One of the two devoted rescuers, Camey, took the family home to foster them, creating a warm and cozy place for them to heal. Not long after that, Scarlett, along with kittens Lenny and Moe, found loving homes. And now, the focus is on finding a caring home for Cayleigh, the remaining kitten.
