Cat Left Behind In Apartment When His Family Moved Is Happy When Finally Adopted After 5 Months Of Waiting

"He was left behind with the trash by tenants who were in a rush to vacate. He was fed dry food by a kind Samaritan who reached out to us for help," Little Wanderers NYC shared.

Narnia, approximately six years old, was timid and would recoil to a corner when approached. Recognizing this, Little Wanderers NYC aimed to find him a suitable foster home with an experienced caregiver.

After a vet visit, Narnia was transported to his foster home. Initially, he was so shy that he stayed in his carrier and didn't want to come out. His foster mom provided reassurance and showered him with affection, offering plenty of pets to boost his spirits.

Gradually, he started feeling safe and loved. "At first he was very shy, but as he started to feel safe, he warmed up," Little Wanderers NYC added.

One day, he decided to join his foster mom in sharing her bed at night. This is a significant milestone, reflecting his newfound confidence. During the day, he lounged on the couch, carefree and dreamy.

"Narnia has come a long way in the months he's been with his foster mom. He went from a shy, scared male to a confident boy who is finally able to relax," Little Wanderers NYC wrote.

He envisioned himself as the sole king of his castle. His cream-colored fur and medium-length hair added to his stunning appearance.

After spending five months in foster care, Narnia patiently waited for a family to adopt him. This week, his hopes came true as he received the wonderful news he had been longing for.

A loving family, captivated by his story, stepped forward to welcome him into their home. Now, with his head and tail held high, Narnia knows where he truly belongs and deserves all the love in the world.
