Kitten Rescued Just In Time From Water Drum Now Has Wonderful Life With Her Saint Bernard Sister
“I saw on the surveillance that she fell into the barrel,” shared the rescuer. He is working near the place where the little cat felt off the water.
When pouring out the water drum, a wet orange tabby floated out along with other trash. Her condition wasn’t very good, and surely, if the rescuer hadn't witnessed the accident, her life would have been threatened. Quickly, the man brought her into his workplace, dried this little baby, and warmed up her.
“She was shaking," said the good samaritan “I wrapped her up, and I kept her warm and cozy.”
Later, he brought the baby home, cleaned her up, and gave her some kitten food. Adorably, to cheer up the terrified little orange, he even whispered to her : “You’re not sure yet, I know, but you will be; don’t worry.”
Even though the little orange didn’t seem to have a serious health problem, the rescuer and his wife decided to take her to the vet the next day. After a careful health check, the result was good. She was healthy, so perhaps it’s time for her to go.
However, the little orange had formed a strong bond with the rescuer's family during her time there. So, despite not being a cat person, the rescuer chose not to let her go, and the family welcomed a new member.
“Gosh, I can’t put the cat back outside. You know what? I think maybe we got a cat,” shared the rescuer.
They named the cat Lilo, and she quickly became part of the family. Everyone adored this energetic baby, and she often spent nights with the family children.
And she especially loves her new sister, Winnie, a 120-pound Saint Bernard. She was timid at first when meeting her new sister, but it didn’t take long for them to build a strong bond.
“It didn’t take more than a week before Lilo was pouncing at Winnie and jumping on her nose,” shared the rescuer. "It's a beautiful relationship.”
Most of the time, Lilo can be seen snuggling with Winnie, lying peacefully in the belly part of Winnie. And these moments are just so touching!
Now, with the love and care from her new family, we can be sure that Lilo will thrive and grow up as lovely and strong as her siblings.
