This Dog Takes Concept Of Playing Dead To New Level During Training Exercise
In Puerto Montt, Chile, a team of first responders and medical students gathered for a training exercise involving a staged accident—a mock collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.
As part of the simulation, an actor played the role of an injured cyclist lying on the ground to simulate the accident scene. Unexpectedly, a local dog named Gigante became aware of the training exercise and decided to participate. Gigante joined the scenario, adding surprise to the training exercise.
The presence of the beloved canine turned what was initially a serious simulation into a heartwarming and joyful moment for everyone involved.
After the actor playing the injured cyclist lay on the ground, Gigante decided to participate and playfully pretended to be dead as well.

“He’s a puppy in the body of a big dog. Every time there’s an event in the plaza, he participates. He loves being at the center of attention." Pame said.
Gigante may not have a traditional family, but he's a beloved member of the community in Puerto Montt, Chile. Considered a cherished pet by everyone, Gigante receives plenty of love, attention, and even food from the community members.
