Arnett has a handicap of 15 and has participated in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. He was seen reading Jason Bateman’s putt from the ground at the tournament. Arnett and Bateman are longtime friends and partners in DumbDumb Productions. They were assigned to play in back-to-back groups at Spyglass Hill Golf Course in the first round. Arnett, with a handicap of 15, and his pro partner Taylor Pendrith came in at 6 under.

But no, Will Arnett’s Pebble Beach participation isn’t a victorious one. The winner of the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was Justin Rose. He won for the first time in four years with the PGA Tour win at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. Better luck next year then?

Arnett has also partnered with NBC Sports for their US Open campaign. The campaign, which was launched in May 2023, featured Arnett and Bateman playing golf with Xander Schauffele and John McEnroe. He starred in a series of three spots promoting the golf championship alongside Jason Bateman. The final 30-second promo, “Sand Trap,” features Arnett stuck in a sand trap, with Bateman attempting to help him out of the jam.

The ad opens with Arnett and Bateman teeing off on the first hole. Along the way, Arnett and Bateman make fun of each other's golfing skills. Arnett calls Bateman a "terrible golfer," while Bateman calls Arnett a "hack." The two of them also get into a friendly argument about who is the better golfer.

Despite their bickering, Arnett and Bateman have a good time playing golf together. They laugh and joke, and they seem to enjoy each other's company. The ad ends with Arnett and Bateman shaking hands after finishing the hole.
