Fans from the first season of What If…? would know that this is not the first time Captain Carter travels through the Multiverse. In Season 1’s finale, the character was summoned by Uatu the Watcher himself to be a part of the Guardians of the Multiverse to fight against the powerful Ultron, after the latter obtained Vision’s body.
Uatu’s Guardians of the Multiverse consists of Captain Carter, Doctor Strange Supreme, Thor, Dystopia Black Widow, T’Challa’s version of Star-Lord, and Gamora.

Peggy Carter wakes up to find herself in an encounter with variants of Nick Fury and Wanda Maximoff, who wear Elizabethan-era outfits. This may suggest that Captain Carter has ended up on Earth-1602, a dimension where the Avengers are active during the Elizabethan era in the comics.
Upon finding Peggy, both Fury and Wanda admit that she is the hero who can save not only the queen, but also their entire world. Surprisingly, even Uatu himself is caught off guard by the existence of Scarlet Witch in this universe. It seems that this version of Wanda is even more powerful and unpredictable than he can imagine.
This fateful encounter seems to be a premise of What If…? Season 2 Episode 8, "What If… the Avengers Assembled in 1602?", which will continue to story of Captain Carter on Earth-1602.
