Everything About Kahhori: MCU’s Original Hero In What If…? Season 2 Episode 6

Not only does it introduce to us a bunch of our favorite characters’ new variants, but What If…? Season 2 also sets the stage for a brand-new and original superhero to join the fray. Yes, we are talking about Kahhori, the star of What If…? Season 2 Episode 6. The animated anthology sequel has been a blessing for us this Christmas holiday, and it continues to deliver with yesterday’s episode.

Right from her MCU debut, Kahhori impresses us all with her brilliant display of power. Besides, she’s also accompanied by one of the most powerful beings in the What If Universe - Strange Supreme. What does Strange Supreme want with the Native American? What kind of adventure awaits the two? Let’s find out.

#1. Who’s Kahhori, And What’s Her Superpower?

In What If…? Season 2 Episode 6: “What If…Kahhori Reshaped The World?”, the titular character is introduced as a young Native American Mohawk woman, who gained cosmic superpowers after discovering the Tesseract. She gains access to Sky World, an otherworldly dimension that is inhabited by her ancestors.

In the Sky World, Kahhori learns that she has absorbed the cosmic energy that the Space Stone left behind, and she can distribute this energy throughout her body to enhance her physical abilities. She can also do energy projection, telekinesis, and later can open portals between dimensions at her will.

Kahhori is also said to be immortal, just like all other Mohicans who went through the portal before. This wide array of superhuman abilities makes her one of the most powerful superheroes in the MCU already.

#2. Kahhori Is Resourceful Enough To Change The World

After settling in Sky World and getting used to her new powers, Kahhori puts a stop to the inquisitors’ offense with ease. She then returns to the mortal realm, and uses her power to dispatch the Spanish colonization army, but is outmatched by their firepower. Luckily, her Tesseract-powered tribe arrives in time to save her, and together, they push back the inquisitors, and destroy their ships.

The Mohican warrior continues to use her powers to reshape the world, defeating inquisitors and even confronting the Spanish Queen to demand peace, thus opening up a new future for all the Native Americans out there. However, in the most crucial moment, Strange Supreme appears.

#3. What Does Strange Supreme Want With Kahhori?

This dark version of Stephen Strange made his debut in the first season of What If…? in 2021, who’s corrupted by the Darkhold and even destroys his own universe after multiple attempts to save his lover, Christine from her grim fate. In Season 1 finale, he was chosen by Uatu the Watcher as a member of the Guardians of the Multiverse, and agreed to guard two powerful villains, Killmonger and Zola in a pocket dimension.

At the end of What If…? Season 2 Episode 6, Strange Supreme is seen looking for Kahhori to recruit her for a future mission. It seems that the former Sorcerer Supreme has traveled the Multiverse for a long time to find her, probably under Uatu’s order.

We don’t know what the mission is, or how the Mohican warrior can help with it, but all will be answered in Season 2’s finale, "What If...Strange Supreme Intervened?", which will continue the events of Episode 6.
