Victor Timely is expected to be the sequel’s main antagonist as well. It is reported that both Loki and Mobius will have to travel back in time to defeat the villain.

Best known for his role as Waymond in the critically acclaimed Everything Everywhere At Once, the Chinese descendant will play Ouroboros, a TVA archivist in the series. Loki Season 2's Official Trailer
The official trailer for the much-anticipated sequel was released on July 31, 2023. It quickly amassed 15 million views in more than a month, showing how popular the series is to MCU fans.
The trailer features Ke Huy Quan as Ouroboros, multiple variants of Loki (including Sylvia), Loki and Mobius returning to the past to stop Victor Timely, and a mysterious villain named Zaniac.
What Will Loki Season 2 Be About?
According to the trailer, Loki Season 2 will continue the events of Season 1, with Loki experiencing a strange symptom called Time-slipping. The phenomenon makes him warp uncontrollably, and Mobius must seek help from Ouroboros.
At the end of Season 1, Sylvie, Loki’s female variant, kills He Who Remains to ease her vengeful heart. As a result, the MCU timeline breaks apart and forms the multiverse. Loki and Mobius have to travel across timelines and dimensions to clean up the mess, while also finding a cure for Loki’s Time-slipping occurence.
With He Who Remains’s death, his other Kang variants also run free and threaten the multiverse as a whole. In the trailer, we see Loki and Mobius return to the past to stop Victor Timely, a version of Kang who established his evil empire in the early 1900s.
