One part of Red Death's plan was to visit Iris. In the seemingly touching reunion, it seems that at first, Iris was still clueless about her old friend's real identity. However, as their conversation going on, Iris started to realize that something isn't right at all. Red Death's acting might be convincing, but her story didn't actually make sense.

Ryan then revealed a shocking fact that she is not from Eobard Thawne’s Reverse Flashpoint. Yes, you heard it right, the Ryan that we are seeing in this episode actually comes from a different timeline. According to "this" Ryan, she was born in a universe where she was adopted by the Waynes. Therefore, she's in fact Ryan Wayne. This also means that in Red Death Ryan's universe, she never lives in the street, never meets Sophie and eventually took the famous Batman Bruce Wayne's life. Crazy, right?
Things started going south when Ryan Wayne tried to build a cosmic treadmill to send herself home, only for it to be ruined by Team Flash. There was no other choice in that situation, Team Flash had to prevent Ryan Wayne from ripping up the timeline. But, it's also no surprise that Ryan Wayne immediately went insane the moment her plan went downhill.
It's important to note that Ryan Wayne has a passionate hatred of her world’s Flash, and eventually, she has gotten rid of Barry Allen in her universe already. This only means one thing: Ryan Wayne is willing to do absolutely anything to get revenge on Barry Allen. Team Flash was put in another danger, and this time, it could get really intense.
