In Season 3 of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro is on his way to the village of the Swordsmiths to meet two of the Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito, the Love and Mist Hashira, respectively. His Nichirin sword was damaged in the previous season's battle with Gyutaro and only the most talented swordsmiths are capable of repairing it. However, the swordmaker who created the sword is a bit of a miser and may not be willing to fix it. Additionally, danger is looming just outside the village, which could be catastrophic if the swordsmiths are unable to help.
Since the release of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in 2021, the series has become a worldwide sensation. The excellent second season in 2022 further increased its popularity, and it took home several awards at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The expectations for the third season are very high, and those who caught the first episode in theaters have indicated it is living up to them. The premiere of season three will be available to watch on Crunchyroll on April 9, 2023, so fans don't have to wait much longer.
