Why Was Kanye West Arrested After SNL? Did He Face Charges?
According to accounts, Kanye West got into an altercation with a photographer at the American Airlines airport who was attempting to shoot him. West is accused of slamming the photographer's camera to the ground, perhaps destroying or ruining it.
The camera was valued around $10,000. The event was captured on video by TMZ, who was there at the scene. West was arrested on charges of vandalism, and his tour manager was held as well. Both were freed on $20,000 bail.

The rapper's location following his detention remained unknown. In the incident, it is thought that he and his bodyguard/road manager, Don Crowley, both smashed the light and camera to the ground.
When Kanye realizes the videographer had captured the event, he ran over to remove the tape from him.

Dave Chappelle discussed Donald Trump, the midterm elections, and Kanye West's antisemitic rants during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.
Chappelle delivered a statement he claimed to have authored, in which he condemned antisemitism in all of its forms. "And that, Kanye, is how you buy yourself some time," he said, "and I stand with my friends in the Jewish community."
Chappelle chastised West for feeling he was invincible until Adidas and other companies dropped him following a run of antisemitic social media comments.
He also brought up Kyrie Irving, who was suspended by the Brooklyn Nets after tweeting a link to the anti-Semitic video Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.
Isaiah Lee Was Also Arrested During The Show: What Happened And Why?
Not only was Kayne West arrested after SN, Isaiah Lee, who assaulted Dave at the Hollywood Bowl, was also apprehended.
According to the District Attorney's Office, the man accused of stabbing comedian Dave Chappelle on stage at the Hollywood Bowl has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly killing his roommate at a temporary housing facility in December.
Prosecutors said that Lee was identified and apprehended during the original attack in part because of the Chappelle case.
The district attorney's office did not immediately reply to a message requesting comment from Lee's defense counsel.
On May 3, Lee was arrested for reportedly storming the stage and attacking Chappelle during his stand-up show at the Hollywood Bowl.
City Attorney Mike Feuer said in a video statement announcing the charges that the alleged assault had repercussions and that his office takes public safety seriously and would thoroughly pursue the case.
