The family of the Die Hard actor shared a statement on the website of the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) on Thursday, February 16th, announcing that Willis has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which is a form of dementia that affects language and behavior.

Since then, three of Willis' daughters have openly shared about the impact of their father's diagnosis on their lives.
On Thursday, February 16th, Scout, Willis' second eldest child, posted on her Instagram story, expressing her emotional exhaustion and feeling somewhat overwhelmed, while also acknowledging the immense amount of love people have for her father.
Along with the caption "Second this Scouter feeling the abundant love for our guy and our family," Willis' third eldest daughter, Tallulah, reposted Scout's post on her own Instagram story.

Rumer, the oldest of Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore's three daughters, also shared the same story on her social media account. In her repost, she added the message: "I third this Scouter and Buusk, feeling incredibly thankful and amazed by the love for us and our dear Daddio."
Bruce Willis is a father to five daughters - Scout, Tallulah, and Rumer with his ex-wife Demi Moore, and Mabel and Evelyn with his current partner Emma Heming.

In their statement on Thursday, February 16th, Emma, Demi, Rumer, Scout, Tallulah, Mabel, and Evelyn directed those impacted by FTD to the AFTD's website.
