Owner Says He Never Babysits For His Sister Again As She Makes Her Kids Eat Chocolate In His House
This is a story about an owner who says he never babysits for his sister again. Let figure out what are the reasons and how people react.
As responsible pet owners, we look for a way to keep our furry companions happy and healthy. Normally, owners spend time studying how to treat pets, and how to entertain and train them. This is good! But, when we focus too much on the “dos,” let's not forget about the "don'ts."
I bet that many of you here can tell right away at least one thing owners should do with their pets, but can you tell what we should avoid while we raise them? It might take you some time to think of one! For those who still haven't got a clue, some of the 'don'ts' with pets are neglecting their dental health, overfeeding them, or letting them eat some particular kinds of human food, such as chocolate.
This owner of two German Shepherds is a responsible owner. Hence, he knows better than anyone else how he should and shouldn't treat his dogs.
Although he is child-free, he babysits a lot because his four sisters give birth to 10 kids in total. The sisters often drop their children at OP's place, and the man is happy around his siblings. The kids are nice, and they love their dogs.
Things just became worse one day, when the kids visited his house and ate chocolate they were given by their mother. OP realized that the living room's floor was full of chocolate crumbs. Fortunately, his dogs were sleeping outside on the balcony, so there was no accident. The kids later admitted that mom always gave it to them, but they ate secretly the previous times.
OP went mad and started blaming his sister for breaking the rules he set to protect the dogs. Meanwhile, the sister was angry at him saying that her children were big enough not to make a chocolate mess.
Do you think OP was overreacting? If you were OP, would you do the same as he did?
