Wondering why is Eagan in jail Manifest? Here we go! The first half of the fourth season of Manifest is now available to stream in its entirety on Netflix. Season 4 takes place two years after Grace's horrible death, and the stakes for the passengers are higher than ever as the Death Date approaches. When Is Part 2 Of Manifest Coming Out?

#1. Why Is Eagan In Jail Manifest?

Why Is Eagan In Jail Manifest Source: Manifest
The main protagonists are reunited in the premiere of Season 4 of Manifest. Ben has resigned as Lifeboat captain and is now focusing on finding his abducted daughter, Eden. Mick and Zeke have joined Ben, Olive, and the now-adult Cal in their home. Cal is keeping his true identity under wraps to prevent being used as a government experiment. Following the airliner's disappearance at the end of Season 3, Eureka was shut down, leaving Saanvi and Vance to unofficially pursue their investigation into the 828 phenomena.
Henry Kim, a passenger, likely executed in Singapore, escaped from the research facility where he was detained and made his way to New York. The man insisted he was meant to hand Cal the 828 black boxes and had them with him. Henry tells Cal that he is now the Dragon just before the police capture him, and for some reason, Cal ends up with a scar in the shape of a dragon on his arm. Is Eden Still Alive?
The first five episodes center on the mission to save Eden. Angelina, who had been missing and thought dead, is shown to have been hiding aboard the plane with the help of several passengers, including Anna Ross, the woman who had earlier helped save Cal's life. Angelina eventually finds refuge at a commune for travelers run by Adrian, the former head of the 828 cults. The problem is that Adrian tells Eagan, who is currently in jail for holding Vance's son at gunpoint last season, that he is hiding Angelina. Eagan takes advantage of this information to negotiate a deal and release himself.

What Happened To The Passengers Of Flight 828?

Why Is Eagan In Jail Manifest
In an attempt to rescue his daughter from Adrian's stronghold on his own, Ben is captured and held prisoner in the basement. Thankfully, Michaela and the rest of the team are guided to where he and Eden are hiding by the Callings, and they can save Eden. After destroying her home, Angelina runs to her mother's to seek refuge. Does Ben Get Eden Back In Manifest?
This season, Ben and Cal's friendship has become strained. Cal lets Angelina back in the house after Grace kicks her out and hands her a key, allowing her to enter the house, kidnap Eden, and ultimately knife Grace to death in Season 3. At first, Olive holds a direct grudge against him, but at the beginning of Season 4, she appears to have forgiven her sibling. On the other side, Ben avoids his son like the plague. But after Eden's rescues, and especially in the final three episodes when he finds out Cal's illness has returned, everything changes for him.

Season 3 reveals that the Lifeboat cannot be saved by the Callings alone. Everybody keeps getting this one Calling about ash and a volcano exploding, and it makes me think that maybe the plane crash wasn't an accident at all. As the story progresses, we learn that the passengers were actually inside the Divine Consciousness at the time of the plane's disappearance and that the Callings are simply recollections of the knowledge they had access to.
Through her trials with sapphire, the Major was able to link the jailed, now-catatonic passengers to the Divine Consciousness. But the Omega Sapphire, a legendary gem with infinite potential, eluded her. It just so happens that the Stones stowed the stowaway passenger from season one in the same boiler compartment where they found the last Omega Sapphire. Unfortunately, Eagan assisted Mick and Saanvi in finding the jewel but then absconded with it.

The serial killer's shift in focus to the 828 is another major story point in the show's second half. First, there's Sam, who the police captain was also extorting; second, there's Anna Ross; and third, there's the passenger Cal went on a date with. Adrian is abducted, and it is revealed that Angelina's parents have been killing any passengers who have tried to aid their daughter while she was on the run. The assassination of Eden was planned to convince Angelina that Eden is not an angel. When Angelina's dad tried to attack, he was stopped by Zeke and Olive, who happened to be home at the time.
Regarding Zeke, he spends a lot of time in the show trying to figure out how to control his abilities. After experiencing a passenger's anger at Adrian's property and shooting her to protect Michaela, he relapses but quickly recovers and can put his drinking days behind him.
Michaela's second love interest, Jared, spends the majority of the season in uniform after being demoted for getting into a fistfight with a fellow officer. Fortunately, he and Drea (Mick's ex-NYPD partner) are now in a friends-with-benefits relationship, and there are signs that deeper feelings may be forming between them. He completes the necessary training and is soon working as an investigator for the Registry again.
