In a tattoo survey, 75% of the 600 people questioned confessed to regretting at least one of their tattoos, and celebrities are no exception. They're just like us! They also have really regrettable tattoos on parts of their bodies that they are ashamed of. Some of them broke the basic tattoo rule by getting inked the name of their important one, the anniversary date, or even having a matching tattoo with their ex. No matter what it is, we're sure these celebrities don't look back on it fondly! Sometimes celebrities erase the ink at all cost.
Some of our favorite famous people have changed their minds about their body art, opting to either remove it entirely or cover it up with a new piece. #1 Angelina Jolie's tattoo now has a deeper meaning.

Angelina Jolie tattooed a dragon on her body as a tribute to her late husband Billy Bob Thornton. The actress covered this tattoo with the geographic coordinates of the regions her children are from when the couple divorced. Angelina supposedly has more than 15 tattoos on her body because she loves getting them.

#2 Colin Farrell had enough of waiting in the makeup chair.

The actor has had lots of tattoos removed over the years. One of the reasons for removing some of his ink was he became tired of getting painted in the makeup chair whenever he had to wear a T-shirt. He further stated that some of the graphics on his skin no longer delighted him and even humiliated him.

The actress received multiple tattoos in honor of her ex-partner, basketball player Tony Parker. The first one was on her neck, and it stated "Nine," like the number on the jersey the athlete wore when he played for the NBA's San Antonio Spurs. Another prominent tattoo she had was the date of their wedding, "July 7, 2007," written in Roman numerals (VII-VII-MMVII). It used to be on her right wrist, but after they separated, Eva went out of her way to remove the artwork that once represented her love for the French basketball player.

#4 After her divorce, Heidi Klum removed a tattoo on her arm.

To mark her vow renewal with her then-husband Seal, Heidi Klum had an abstract wave-shaped pattern tattooed on her arm in 2008.  “It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together,”  Heidi explained.
The model chose to remove the design dedicated to her husband after filing for divorce in 2012, but she kept the 4 small stars devoted to her children.

The date of Kaley's wedding to Ryan Sweeting was engraved in Roman numerals below her neck in the original tattoo. After their divorce, the actress concealed the wedding date with an image of a moth. Kaley chose a giant moth with large wings because the tattoo needed to be large enough to cover the previous pattern.

#6 Keith Urban devoted his wrist tattoo to Nicole Kidman.

The musician inscribed his tribal-style bracelet with Nicole Kidman's initials as a tribute to his wife. The Latin phrase "Omnia vincit amor," which translates to "Love conquers all," is covered by this bracelet.

#7 Malin Åkerman's tattoo's meaning was changed by the addition of a single letter.

Originally, Malin had a tattoo on her wrist that read "Z," which stood for her ex-last husband's name. The actress decided to cover the unpleasant tattoo with the letter "S" after their divorce. Sebastian, the name of her kid, begins with the letter "S."

#8 Marc Anthony covered up his wrist tattoo that was inspired by J.Lo.
