It's pretty cool to see stars connecting beyond the screens, and Efron and Perry do it in style. During the recent Walk of Fame ceremony, Zac Efron did not hesitate to express his gratitude and remembrance to Matthew - a dedicated co-star and true friend.

At a recent Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony honoring Zac Efron for his stellar career, the 36-year-old actor took a moment to reflect on his friendship with the late Matthew Perry. Remembering their time together on the set of “17 Again” in 2009, Efron expressed gratitude, noting that Perry, who passed away in October at 54, was “so kind and generous” to him.
“Collaborating with him and [director Burr Steers] — it was so much fun and really did propel me and motivate me in so many ways,” Efron recalled. “It really pushed me into the next chapter of my career, and for that, thank you so much, Matthew. Thinking about you a lot today.”

At the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony where Zac Efron received his well-deserved star, his “The Iron Claw” co-star Jeremy Allen White, friend Miles Teller, and director Sean Durkintook the stage to speak on his behalf. They shared their admiration for Efron's talent before he himself graciously accepted the honor.

Known for his breakout role in Disney's "High School Musical" trilogy, Efron becomes the 2,767th Entertainment industry figure to join the prestigious Walk of Fame, as announced in an official press release.
Teller shared his thoughts about Zac on their first meeting for their 2014 movie That Awkward Moment, saying, “For our generation, Zac was and is the first true superstar to come out of our class.”

During the world premiere of “The Iron Claw” in Dallas, Zac Efron revealed his openness to the idea of portraying his late “17 Again” co-star Matthew Perry in a future biopic. Perry, who sadly passed away in October at the age of 54, had previously expressed his interest in having Efron play him in a movie depicting his life. “I'm honored to hear he was thinking of me to play him,” Efron declared. “We'll see. I'd be honored to do it.”
