Jennifer Aniston Calls On Fans To Support Matthew Perry's Foundation

Jennifer Aniston, marking #GivingTuesday, emphasizes the importance of backing the foundation, expressing, "For #GivingTuesday please join me and Matty’s family in supporting his foundation - which is working to help those suffering with addiction."

Before Giving Tuesday, the actor's family told People that the ultimate goal of the Matthew Perry Foundation is "identifying addiction as a disease, addressing the complex of stigmas that prevents individuals from seeking and accessing care, and fiercely advocating for better and more equitable treatment." 

They also emphasize that supporting the foundation is a significant means of honoring the late Matthew Perry, who candidly shared his battle with addiction before his passing at 54 on October 28, 2023. They express hope that others might also contribute in a similar manner.

“It is important to us, as a family, to honor Matthew’s legacy,” Perry’s family continues, “The potential that the Matthew Perry Foundation has to help those suffering from this disease is something we are proud to bring to the world.”

Aniston's social media post urging her followers and Friends fans to contribute to Perry's foundation is her initial post since she addressed the late actor's loss in an Instagram tribute on November 15, 2023.
