Will Monet kill Lorenzo? Here's what we could expect in Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Episode 5.
The 5th episode of Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 officially airs on April 14th with the title “No More Second Chances”. According to the synopsis, in this episode, Monet digs deeper after Davis provides her new information regarding Zeke's murder.
Monet is not going to stop until she gets revenge on Zeke's murderer, and someone will have to pay a hefty price. Is Lorenzo going to be safe? Will Monet be able to catch the true killer? Let's take a look at the preview for the next episode.

#2. Who Killed Zeke In Power Book II: Ghost?

As we all know, Lorenzo is the one who murdered Zeke.
The terrible thing here is that he did it by mistake. On that day, Zeke tried to get on a private jet to leave for New York and clear his mind after he found out that his aunt Monet was in fact his birth mother. When Zeke was stepping on the stairs to enter the plane, Lorenzo suddenly shot him multiple times from behind. Zeke died immediately.
Later, Lorenzo belatedly realized that he had killed the wrong person in a case of mistaken identity. He thought that the person he murdered was Dante “Mecca” Spears (Daniel Sunjata), Zeke's birth father. What's done is done, now Lorenzo could only try his best to hide this secret from his wife. He knows that Monet would definitely kill him if she finds out the truth.

 

#3. Will Monet Kill Lorenzo In Power Book II: Ghost?

Zeke's death made Monet become absolutely devastated. She was willing to do anything to catch Zeke's killer. Lorenzo knew that he couldn't just stand there and do nothing - he must find a scapegoat if he wants to hide his crime.
He then asked his son Cane to investigate Zeke's murderer, hoping that Cane would find someone convincing enough to pass off as Zeke's murderer.
Well, we could say that Cane did such an excellent job on this mission. Cane eventually figured out that Lorenzo was responsible for Zeke's death. He found the evidence, and he even managed to get Lorenzo's confession about his crime. Cane didn't tell anyone else about this secret, he used the information to blackmail Lorenzo on his own.

However, Lorenzo will have to face the consequences of his own actions soon. During the recent episodes, Monet found out that Lorenzo's fingerprints match the partial fingerprints found at Zeke's crime scene after reading the report Davis sent her. Davis promised to look further into the case.
When Lorenzo came to talk to her, Monet pretended like everything was fine. But the look in her eyes as she was hugging Lorenzo tells us that she's not going to let this pass.
At the beginning of the promo for Episode 5, it seems like Tariq will meet Monet to provide her with information about Zeke's murderer. He even emphasizes that he got it from the most reliable source ever. In an another scene, Davis is telling Monet to be careful of her actions because she never knows "who could be watching". It's important to note that we also get a glimpse of Lorenzo preparing to do something in the trailer.

It seems like Monet will get to learn that Lorenzo is Zeke's killer in Episode 5. Is Tariq going to be the one exposing Lorenzo's secret, or will she find out the truth through Davis's report? Lorenzo would probably try to persuade Monet by admitting that he did it by mistake, but will Monet forgive him? And if Monet is determined to kill Lorenzo, what could he do to escape this situation?
