Who plays Riley in The Last Of Us? About Storm Reid. The suspense in "The Last of Us" has reached an all-time high because the life of Joel, played by Pedro Pascal, is in imminent danger once more. In light of the sneak peek for the seventh episode that will air on HBO the following week, we will look at Ellie's (Bella Ramsey) lowly beginnings at a FEDRA school.
In addition, a brand-new character named Riley, who Storm Reid will play, will be presented. We are no closer to understanding what this means, even though Ellie has referenced Riley in the past in the series and that clues about their connection are sprinkled throughout the games.

The Last of Us has never failed to impress, and considering that the first season only comprises nine episodes, there is still a significant amount of content to look forward to. A second season of the critically acclaimed television show based on video games with the same name has been ordered even if Joel and Ellie do not make it out of this adventure alive. After all, the fact that Sarah (Nico Parker) and Tess (Anna Torv), amongst other characters, have been killed off makes it very clear that there is always a possibility of harm.
In The Last of Us, Ellie's childhood best friend, Riley, plays a vital part in the events. She is Ellie's best friend, someone she can confide in, and a possible love interest. She is shown as somewhat more intelligent and proactive than Ellie, particularly because she becomes involved with a group of activists known as the Fireflies, while Ellie does not.
Riley is a fan favorite even though she was not a playable character in the game released in 2013; she has been featured in various additional media since then. She was introduced to readers for the first time in the form of a graphic novel titled The Last of Us: American Dreams, and she made her debut on the big screen in the 2014 add-on titled The Last of Us: Left Behind (where Yaani King played her).

This downloadable content (DLC) was an additional chapter to the original game, and it featured in-depth flashbacks that detailed Ellie's life before she met Joel. Ellie and Riley can be seen having fun in what seems to be an empty shopping mall in one of the images recorded. You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to test your skills in Left Behind if you haven't already. It provides a fascinating insight into the world's history and Ellie's personality.
Storm Reid, who you may recognize from the Movies Euphoria or A Wrinkle in Time, has already been cast in the role of Riley in the television program The Last of Us. Based on promotional materials such as the image found above, in which Riley can be seen standing next to a carnival carousel, several people have hypothesized that the events from the Left Behind video game would be included in the Last of Us video game series.
The fact that Riley was even brought up in the first episode is fantastic news for those viewers who are fans of her character. The Last of Us co-showrunner Craig Mazin hinted that content outside of the original game had been explored for inclusion. Druckmann was the creative director of the games.

Mazin told us, "There were so many things we accomplished in the play that I was delighted about." "I was quite pleased by the concert overall," "Either things that Neil had wanted to put in the game, but they didn't have time or new stuff that they had thought of after [making the game]." "Either thing that Neil had wanted to include in the game, but they didn't have time."
The critically acclaimed films 12 Years a Slave (2013) and A Wrinkle in Time (2018) are two examples of the many films and television series in which Reid has appeared. Reid rose to notoriety recently for her role as Gia Bennett in the film Euphoria. In this role, she played the younger sister of Zendaya's character Rue and participated in the upcoming DC film The Suicide Squad (2021).
