Many episodes back, Alice was devastated when Nick, who no longer resides in Port Haven, missed the party commemorating the closing of his parents' movie theater. Unfortunately, it seems like she'll soon be meeting the older version of her crush. Alice's science instructor, Elliot, is one of the few aware of her time-traveling abilities. He has previously forewarned Alice that there is no way for her and Nick to establish a relationship in the present.
But Alice dismissed her worries, insisting that she was more interested in seeing Nick in his adult form so that she could get a sense of who he was.
