While the Love Is Blind season 4 reunion may actually dig deep into why Jackie and Marshall did not really get married, his interview revealed he’s giving love another try. Marshall said: "I actually reached out to Kacia. We tried." He added that things became difficult as their relationship was too closely connected with the Love Is Blind experience, making things tricky and the relationship didn't end well.
Marshall said: "I wanted to just distance myself from all of that, from that experience. It was going to be difficult to try to make a relationship with Kacia. "Still to this day, I'm apologetic about starting something and getting her hopes up with me going back in my shell like, ‘This isn't really the time or the place.'"

He knew it was “going to be difficult” to create a relationship with Kacia, and ending things with her was “rough.” Whilst we didn't see Marshall and Kacia connect much in the pods, this could be down to what made the final edit cut, as clearly a connection was formed between the two.

One of the things about Love Is Blind couple Jackie and Marshall's breakup that has garnered attention is why he asked for the engagement ring back. “I don’t think that you deserve it because you should never have accepted my proposal,” Marshall told Jackie, who in turn insisted she would keep the diamond ring because she “wanted to marry him.” Marshall seemed hurt but informed Jackie that she could keep the ring as it would serve as a reminder that she “passed up on something great.” Of course, the ring was chosen by Marshall, but it was paid for by Netflix.

In that case, Marshall wanting the ring back from Jackie felt odd since he didn't buy it with his own money. He later took to TikTok to claim he wanted to leave the relationship with something. Logically, Jackie should have returned it, since she never treated him right and was possibly not in the experiment for the right reasons. Even after the cameras stopped rolling, she never gave him the ring back. It's possible that Kacia had been Marshall's second choice among the 15 women in the pods after Jackie.
In the spur of the moment, Marshall may have thought of giving the ring to a more deserving person like Kacia. However, the breakup with Jackie left such an impact on him that the way he looks at dating has changed now. Even if he looked at Kacia as a potential new partner, she ended up just being a rebound for the Love Is Blind star. It remains to be seen what happens next in Marshall's life, especially since Jackie is apparently still together with Josh.

Marshall has been able to draw some positive inspiration out of his breakup with Jackie.

Someone who knows themselves and knows that they can have bad times and they can have great times, but it's staying with someone and figuring it out.
