The Marvels Star Reveals Which MCU Actor She Wants To Work With The Most
The Marvels may have been a box office disappointment, earning only $199 million worldwide after one month, but it does have a few shining spotlight. One of them is Iman Vellani, who portrays the dynamic and vibrant Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the movie. Vellani did a stellar job as Kamala, and unlike The Marvels’ theatrical result, her future in the MCU is looking bright.
Since Ms. Marvel is a relatively young character, Vellani is here to stay in the MCU for a long time to come. Recently, the actress also spoke out about one actor in the MCU she wants to work with the most in future projects, and given the chemistry of these characters in the comics, we Marvel fans can have something to look forward to.

This actually doesn’t come as a surprise for many fans, as Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man have proven to be a great duo in Marvel Comics for years. While Peter is a tad bit older, the two are still roughly the same generation, which creates several funny banters and dynamic interactions between them. Peter also has been in the superhero business longer than Kamala, so the latter often comes to him for advice as well.

Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man have been great friends for almost a decade, starting from The Amazing Spider-Man #7 in 2014. They also show great dynamics in 2015’s All-New, All-Different Avengers, 2016’s Worlds Collide, 2019 Marvel Team-up, 2022’s Dark Web series, and the recent Amazing Spider-Man run.
Both Holland and Vellani are also widely praised in the community for depicting their respective characters accurately from the comics, so seeing both of them as Peter Parker and Kamala Khan on the big screen would be an ideal scenario comes true for a lot of fans.

That being said, Tom Holland’s future in the MCU is still uncertain. The British actor is open to the idea of returning as Spider-Man, but only if the plot for the movie is good enough, or the Wall-Crawler will “swing into the sunset”. So far, there have been talks between Holland and Marvel Studios about a potential sequel, but no agreement has been reached just yet.
The tragic ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Holland’s Peter Parker all alone, as his identity has now been forgotten by the whole world, including his loved ones. Having to start everything anew, it’s now a good chance for Peter to meet new characters, and Vellani’s Ms. Marvel could be one of them.
