This Crafter Makes ‘Dolls Like Me’ For Children With Physical Differences, And They Are Awesome

Do you love dolls? Dolls are so adorable that many people love them, either grown-ups or kids. Especially for disabled people, dolls are likely to help them cope with big emotional feelings by becoming their friends, hugging them and sending them sweet kisses. With this humanistic idea in mind, the crafter Amy Jandrisevits came up with a project "Dolls Like Me". As the name suggests, in this project, she creates personalized dolls that look like real children with different physical appearances and then sends those soft and cuddly dolls to them.
Below are some of the most wholesome pictures capturing the moments when kids met their personalized dolls. They are bound to touch your heart. Scroll down to take a look.

"This is me... I am A Doll Like Me. I am quite sure that the younger version of me is thrilled that the adult Amy still gets to play with dolls! In fact, I think she would approve of me taking professional photos with my dolls."
"While this technically is a business, I like to think of it more like a ministry or a mission," shared she.
