The film's distributor, AMC Entertainment, revealed last week that presales for its cinemas had already surpassed $100 million for the entire run of Swift's film. Robbins noted that because the picture is only playing on weekends rather than all week, it may distort box office comparisons after its initial weekend. Nonetheless, it is expected that Swift's theatrical concert would make income throughout its short run. It is open till November 5.

Movie theaters are sure to enjoy a significant increase in concession revenue, as theatres have created unique popcorn buckets and boutique drinks for the picture. In addition, several sites plan to put up friendship bracelet-making booths and other in-person festivities to make the experience bigger and more memorable than just a trip to the Movies.

“No matter what, [the film is] already an enormous success and music to the ears of theater owners,” said Robbins.

The film will premiere on October 13, because it's Taylor Swift's favorite number, of course.
