Business matters are a priority, and the contenders are splitting into factions that split into sub-factions. The siblings share a moment of unity, but the chaos of corporate politics quickly takes over.
Meanwhile, Gerri is planning to trick the kids into cannibalizing themselves, while Matsson phones Roman to discuss the unfinished GoJo transaction. The kids let him go to voicemail to clear their heads. Hugo pulls Kendall aside in a plea for help, and the trio discovers that Logan did name a successor in his will. In the finale of the episode, Kendall convinces Roman and Shiv to talk about him becoming CEO. Shiv and Roman were upset at Kendall for considering taking over their father’s company after trying to put Logan behind bars. However, Kendall manages to convince Stewy to support him. He encourages his siblings to discuss the issue and clarifies that he only wants what’s best for all three of them. Roman and Shiv agree to let him take the CEO role and Roman to be co-CEO.
At the board meeting, Kendall and Roman's pitch to become co-CEOs is accepted. They promise to complete the sale of Waystar to GoJo before leaving. Shiv regrets her decision to let them lead but agrees after Kendall promises to keep her in decision-making. Kendall and Roman refuse to drag Logan's name through the mud in the PR strategy proposed by Hugo, but Kendall later privately convinces him to go ahead with the strategy.
Kendall appears to be taking a dark turn in the finale, as he is prepared to sacrifice his father's name for the sake of the PR campaign. Although Kendall is showing more decisive leadership, he may break his promise to his siblings. Only time will tell if Kendall will follow in his father's footsteps or serve as an efficient CEO for Waystar.
