In the latest episode of Magnum P.I., Magnum and his friends are hunted by unknown men. They managed to capture one of the attackers. They put the captive in a secure location, thinking this would buy them some time to escape and make a plan.
However, the attackers were still able to identify their locations. They went after the team when they get involved in a mission overseas. Although Magnum was staying at the highly secure Robyn's Nest property, the bad guys still found a way to get to him by cutting the power and attempting to kill him.

Fortunately, Rick was able to warn Magnum about the danger before he got abducted. The kidnappers wanted to play around with Rick. They gave Rick multiple chances to run away from them, which he ultimately did by causing a car accident.
Magnum and Juliette set out on a mission to find Rick. They began by attempting to locate the criminals' hideout. When calling each contact on the dead gang members' cell phones, they came across a voice analyst. This person turned out to be Nadine Amherst, a CIA analyst who they thought was no longer alive.

As they tried to uncover more information, it became clear that Nadine is the mastermind behind their current situation. Nadine even faked her own death to carry out her scheme. Juliette investigated Nadine's past. She discovered that Nadine was trying to seek revenge for Ahmad Hadid, the terrorist that they were supposed to kill.
Nadine used to Hadid's handler at one point, and they may have even been in a romantic relationship. However, when politics shifted, Hadid was no longer seen as a valuable asset. That was when Magnum and his friends received the order to get rid of him. This must have fueled Nadine's desire for vengeance against those who murdered her former lover.
Nadine had a child named Michael with Hadid. Michael died of MERS less than a year ago. This sheds light on why Nadine waited so long to pursue her revenge.

Rick managed to evade his captors for a while before ultimately being caught. Before his capture, Rick leaves behind his cell phone since he had recorded a heart-wrenching video for Suzy and his daughter. In the video, Rick expressed his love for them and apologizing for not being a part of their lives anymore. He thought that he wouldn't be able to make it out alive this time.
Magnum discovered the video but he had no idea where Rick was. Meanwhile, TC woke up in the hospital with the possibility of never walking again. Nadine demanded Rick to tell her what really happened to Hadid. Rick revealed how Hadid used a woman as a human shield.
Nadine didn't like this story. She suspected Rick of lying to her. She planned on torturing everyone around Rick until she got the answer she wanted. Fortunately, Magnum came up with a plan to save Rick and take down Nadine's scheme. Magnum staged a prison break then followed one of Nadine's men straight to her location. With the help of Juliette and HPD, Magnum took down everyone and rescued Rick.

Following his harrowing experience, Rick deleted the video message he left for his family, hoping to leave the past behind. Later, he and Magnum paid a visit to TC.
Meanwhile, Cade struggled with his feelings towards TC. He worried about losing TC. Howver, he still decided to stay with Kumu while TC is in the hospital.
