Is The Darksaber Destroyed? What Happens After The Darksaber Was Destroyed?

Is The Darksaber destroyed? In the eighth episode of the third season of The Mandalorian, Moff Gideon goes to extraordinary measures to get the Darksaber. Moff Gideon could not see Bo-Katan wield the Darksaber, so he used his new armor that the Mandalorians inspired to crush the weapon and the hand that was holding it. If he continues in this vein, Moff Gideon will wipe out over a thousand years of Mandalorian history and culture.
He believes that removing the Mandalorians' most valued item will render them unable to defend themselves effectively. He is certain that the dispersed Mandalorian clans cannot be reunified without the Darksaber.

According to the official Star Wars canon, other lightsabers have been repaired several times, but the Darksaber is still unrepairable. Although the saber may have been recovered after the first shattering, Moff Gideon's ancient light cruiser was destroyed when Axe Woves rammed it into his Imperial fortress. If the shards of the saber can be found among the rubble, they will be so charred and burnt that they are no longer of any use.
Any part of the Darksaber that has been preserved is little more than a relic, much like the helmet that Darth Vader wears in the sequel trilogy. The discovery of the Mythosaur in the early episodes of season 3 of The Mandalorian caused a considerable reduction in the value of the Darksaber as a blade. This occurred as early as episode 2 of that season.
Even if one has to possess the Darksaber to rule Mandalore, the discovery of the Mythosaur is sufficient to herald a new age for the planet. Once Din Djarin wins the Darksaber at the end of season 2 of The Mandalorian, The Armorer is not sure it is time to recover Mandalore. However, once Bo-Katan discovered the Mythosaur, The Armorer was convinced that it was time to regain Mandalore.

In the seventh episode of the third season of The Mandalorian, Bo-Katan reveals to Din that she has grown to despise the sword that she uses, even though it is the only thing preventing the different Mandalorian groups from destroying one another. We almost ensured it would be unsuccessful in the long run by placing such a significant amount of emphasis on a nonliving entity. No matter when or by whom the Darksaber was shattered, at some point in time, it would lose its shine and become less impressive. Despite Gideon's best efforts, he will not be recognized for his role in maintaining the Mandalorian history; rather, he will be known for destroying the most valued thing in that lineage.
If the Darksaber were to be destroyed, then it would be possible for Mandalore to become properly united. The Mandalorians have entered a new age with its arrival, which coincides with the demise of the Darksaber. Their culture was based on a single leader, and there were periodic fights over who would hold the powerful Darksaber. Historically, the Mandalorians placed a high value on their independence.

Under Bo-Katan's leadership, the Mandalorians will hopefully enter a new period of togetherness, which Bo-Katan wishes to bring. After all, the only way Moff Gideon could have been defeated was if everyone had worked together. Now that it has been shown beyond a reasonable doubt that Bo-Katan is the final person to wield the Darksaber, the Mandalorian people are in a position to direct their efforts on re-establishing the peaceful society that Bo-Katan's sister Satine had always envisioned for their people.
In episode 8 of season 3 of The Mandalorian, lush caves give Din's covert and Axe Woves' army optimism that they may be able to restore Mandalore to its grandeur before the Great Purge. Since her first appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan has shown concern for the Mandalorians, and now that she has gained the knowledge that she needs from The Mandalorian, she is in a position to lead those Mandalorians.
