Beyond her on-screen prowess, she fearlessly tackled the persisting issue of pay disparity in Hollywood. When it comes to pay disparity, Gal Gadot said, “My biggest struggle as a woman has been equal pay as my male co-stars, (all of) whom I love so much. As a woman, that has been the biggest thing. As a human being, I have struggled with many other problems.”
Gender inequality in Hollywood's actual earnings has been a longstanding issue. A 2017 study from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee revealed that female stars earn approximately $1.1 million less than their male counterparts.
