According to the official plot summary provided by Crunchyroll, "Suzume no Tojimari is a coming-of-age story for the 17-year-old protagonist, Suzume, set in various disaster-stricken locations across Japan, where she must close the doors causing devastation." Suzume is the main character of the series. In contrast to films produced by Marvel, this one does not include an unrelated clip inserted somewhere in the middle of the credits. However, tiny scenes may be found dispersed throughout the credits themselves.
After the first two hours, when Suzume finally ends her past melancholy self, the credits begin to roll. The closing credits begin to roll as Suzume and Satou go back to their family and the car allotted to them, but the movie isn't quite done yet. After they separate, the credits progressively grow as we see tiny glimpses of Suzume and her aunt returning to Japan and meeting with the people they had met throughout their travels. This occurs after they have already parted ways.

Following their return to the residence, the following clip shows Suzume doing her assignments at the kitchen table. A short while later, as Suzume is on her way to school, she goes over some of the ground she covered at the movie's beginning. After this moment, the roll of the credits is stopped, but the music playing throughout them continues, giving the impression that this is a post-credits scene. As she rides her bicycle along the road, birds can be seen flying about above her.
Then, all of a sudden, she stops talking, cracks a smile, and says, "Welcome back." It seems that Satou has returned. The talk ends when the two individuals gaze at one another in silence. After that, the credits roll as they always do, and there is no hidden cutaway to another scene during that time. Rather than the normal Easter Egg sequence shown after the credits, the ones we have described take place more or less in the same manner as the finale of the Suzume.
