Following the call of her heart, the OP decided to give this role to her mom. She then explained to her stepmom that she wanted the 'mother of the bride' to be her mom, leaving the stepmom feeling left out. "She was sad and asked me why I didn't want her as the second mom of the bride," OP shared.
