Demon Slayer fans have been eagerly awaiting news of the series' third season, and now they finally know when and where to watch it. Crunchyroll has acquired the rights to stream Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Swordsmith Village Arc, and it will be available to watch on April 9, 2023 in the US, North and South America, and Europe. Additionally, Crunchyroll will be the exclusive home for the series in those regions.
The first episode of Demon Slayer season 3 was previously shown during a theatrical event at the beginning of March, where it was shown alongside the final episodes of season two. Episodes will be simulcast with their Japanese debuts in subtitled form.
Since the release of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in 2021, the series has become a worldwide sensation. The excellent second season in 2022 further increased its popularity, and it took home several awards at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards. The expectations for the third season are very high, and those who caught the first episode in theaters have indicated it is living up to them. The premiere of season three will be available to watch on Crunchyroll on April 9, 2023, so fans don't have to wait much longer.
As the episodes will be simulcast with Japan, they will only be available in Japanese with subtitles. Crunchyroll promised, however, that dubbed versions for English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi will be produced and released in the future.
