As the story progresses, viewers would get to learn how an ordinary person could fall into extraordinary situations. It shows how one wrong decision leads to another, until it’s too late to go back.
The 12th episode of Accused Season 1 officially airs on April 11th with the title "Morgan's Story". According to the synopsis, the main character of this episode is a teacher named Morgan. Morgan is currently going through a divorce when she suddenly gets arrested under "suspicious circumstances". Is Morgan innocent or guilty? Read until the end to find out.
His constant emotional abuse is frustrating and unbearable. In his eyes, Morgan is simply just an object of his own, something that he could take advantage of however he wants, and nothing more. He humiliates and talks down on her every chance possible. He complains about their house chores as if they were all Morgan's responsibilities.
The only thing Jason cares about is his successful career. Just like what Morgan said, the more Jason cares about money, the more unrecognizable he becomes. Well, his poverty childhood maybe part of the reason why Jason becomes so greedy, but it never validates his manipulative behavior.
Therefore, it's such a relief to see Morgan being able to gather up all her strength and courages to stand up against Jason. She knows that she deserves someone who treats her right. Jason of course would do everything he can to stop Morgan, which is draining her energy every day, but she never has the intention of giving up.
Morgan first met Kashir when he helped rescue a child who got candy stuck in his throat. Kashir is the opposite of Jason - he is sweet, kind and caring. He gets along with her kid Ari easily. Moreover, Kashir always tries his best to understand and validate Morgan's feelings. He makes sure that Morgan always feels safe enough to share her most honest thoughts and emotions with him. This is something that Morgan could never experience in her previous relationship.
Kashir feels like a chance to help Morgan turn a new page in her life (not to mention he technically helped Morgan avoid a train crash by making her stay with him for a night). The affair makes Morgan feel guilty though. Being the rightful person she is, Morgan immediately asks for a divorce as her relationship with Kashir gets deeper. She doesn't even try to validate her infidelity, she is just trying to do the right things.
Jason once again proves that he is such a douchebag by planning to frame Morgan and put her into jail. He even drags his brother, Eric - who is also a cop, into his scheme. Jason treates Eric badly, and he only calls Eric when he needs to get illegal things done. Eric first got angry at Jason's request, but Jason once again use the family card to guilt trip him. Eric eventually gives in. His wife Regina tries her best to persuade him, but it proves to be no use.
Morgan immediately knows that this is Jason's trick. She tries her best to prove that she is not guilty, but that is not an easy thing to do, especially with the disturbance from Eric, a literal cop.
Luckily, Morgan's defense attorney does an excellent job at the court. She perfectly proves that the witness is lying - he claims that Morgan is just driving a car with "normal-looking color" when she in fact drives a bright yellow Porsche.
As a result, the court drops all charges against Morgan. On the other hand, Eric is arrested for further investigation.

One day, as Morgan is driving home, the polices ask her to pull over. According to the cops, police have found 5kg of cocaine in Morgan's house, along with some scales and baggies. The prosecution also has phone records and bank statements that show enormous sums of money. Jason is so thorough that he even hires a fake witness.Morgan immediately knows that this is Jason's trick. She tries her best to prove that she is not guilty, but that is not an easy thing to do, especially with the disturbance from Eric, a literal cop.

But that's not the end to the case. The episode ends in a cliffhanger as it is not revealed if Jason has to go to jail or not. It all depends on Eric - if he wants to speak the truth, or if he still wishes to stay loyal.
