They rose to the ranks together as Disney stars, then became global actresses, musicians, and social media icons. However, they seemed to drift apart from 2010 to 2015. Fans claimed that the friendship between Gomez and Taylor Swift is the reason for the rift between Gomez and Lovato.
Things even came to a head when Demi Lovato shared with Harper’s Bazaar that she was no friend with Selena: “When you grow up with somebody, you’re always going to have a love for them. But I’m not friends with her…”. Many people believe that was the clear answer for their friendship state. Yet others just point out that they have no beef with each other, just not friends at this point

The marvelous friendship between Swift and Kloss was admired by even not their fans. Together, they appeared on the Vogue cover, walked Victoria's Secret catwalk, went on huge road trips, and Karlie even referred to Taylor as her "ride or die".
But they began to appear together less and less. Even in 2019, Taylor Swift didn’t attend Karlie Kloss’s wedding, nor gave any wishes for her once friend. As a result of this friendship's collapse, Karlie appeared to support Taylor's adversary Scooter Braun publicly, and Taylor appeared to mention Karlie as someone who betrayed her in the song "It's Time to Go."

Hilton and Richie became practically inseparable in the early 2000s. They ruled the socialite scene with their appearance in their own reality TV show (The Simple Life). Yet their friendship fell apart in 2005 when the two refused to film the fourth season of their hit reality show as a duo.
According to gossip sites, Nicole showed Paris' sex tape to the attendees at a party celebrating Paris's February 2005. Yikes! The two had a highly public breakup and were silent for a long time. According to the storyline on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jordyn hooked up with Khloé Kardashian's on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Many people were curious as this whole ordeal played out in tabloids, on KUWTK, and social media, wondering why Jordyn was regarded as the villain while Khloé took Tristan back.

Paris Hilton & Lindsay Lohan were also close friends in early 2000. They partied in Los Angeles together regularly. But their friendship hit a major wall in May 2006 when Hilton was seen on camera laughing while her friend Brandon Davis insulted Lohan in front of the paparazzi. While Lohan also made references to Paris' infamous sex tape.
Although they threw shade at each other for a long time, their BFF seems to have mended. Paris recently claimed that the two had stopped acting like mean girls toward one another and had publicly congratulated each other on their respective engagements.

Chyna was even the girlfriend and baby mama of Kardashian’s brother – Rob Kardashian. But when Chyna and Rob broke up, the friendship also came to an end as Chyna spilled some tea and called out the family for being fake.
That resulted in the end of their joint show “Rob & Chyna”. After that, Chyna asserted in a defamation lawsuit filed in 2017 that the Kardashian family decided to stop their show. "The truth is that I have not and I do not plan to [work with James ever again]."
