Composite of the White Dragon DC and the Peacemaker series' White Dragon. In the new HBO Max series Peacemaker, patriarch Auggie Smith is portrayed as a fearsome and deadly evil. He's also the supervillain White Dragon, though readers of DC Comics will recognize significant variations between that incarnation and the numerous others that have featured in the books over the years.
While the White Dragon and his DCEU counterpart share a few similarities, including a similar demeanor and a set of armor, their backstories couldn't be more different.

White Dragon's futuristic suit of armor has been a constant across all of DC Comics' character iterations. This is also true in the Peacemaker adaption, which is largely close to the source material but does feature some notable changes. In the Ducannon adaptation, the armor utilized White Dragon's pyrokinetic abilities, making his flames considerably more destructive than they already were. Armor is nearly impregnable, but Plastique used eye ports as a point of entry. Unlike its comic book counterpart, the one seen in the DCEU appears to be made of armor and fabric, making it vulnerable to some degree.

In issue #4 of Suicide Squad, William Heller (later shortened to "William Hell") made his debut, dressed substantially differently from his signature armor. William Hell, like Ducannon, is a racist and a supremacist who turned vigilante and preyed on the powerless. In the comics, he was eventually a Suicide Squad target; nevertheless, his relationship with the team would take a surprising turn.

The team suffers great losses after White Dragon's coup attempt. Plastique becomes enraged as White Dragon brutally murders Twister, a former teammate. She shoots an energy blast through his advanced armor and kills him. He would be killed off in issue #8 of the 2007 volume of Suicide Squad, effectively ending that incarnation of the character. White Dragon has yet to appear in the current white dragon DC Comics timeline, but his potential live-action debut raises the possibility of a reboot.
