911 Season 6 Episode 15 Cast, Guest Stars & Recap: "Death And Taxes"

Athena told the truth about what happened during the arrest of Dominic. Dominic was being difficult and hiding in the bathroom when the LAPD arrived. After the police threatened to break down the door, he eventually came out on his own. When Dominic was sitting in the back of the car, he suddenly became unconscious. Athena immediately followed all necessary protocols. She tried her best to save his life, but Dominic didn't make it out alive.

In search of answers, Athena began to investigate Dominic's death. She discovered that Dominic may have some enemies due to his embezzlement from his charity. Athena went to the Medical Examiner's office to check on a friend, Luanne. Luanne was busy so she hadn't checked on Dominic's body yet. She allowed Athena to conduct an unofficial inspection.
Athena then discovered that Dominic was not actually dead - he had intentionally overdosed on blood pressure medication so that he could be treated at the hospital. He even switched his medical wristband with the body of a bus accident victim to fake his death.
When Athena found him, he was trying to sneak back into his house. During the interrogation, Domic lost consciousness once again. He suffered a real heart attack due to the medication he had taken earlier. Athena and Maynard put in their best efforts to rescue him with the assistance of the 118 team members, but he ultimately didn't survive. The team waited for a minute before calling the M.E. to confirm the unfortunate outcome.

What Happened To Buck?

The 118 firefighters came to a funeral where a priest had accidentally crashed his car into the chapel. Buck met a death doula at the funeral. He invited her out for coffee. The death doula quickly became interested in Buck as he shared his experience of dying for a couple of minutes after getting struck by lightning.
It's obvious that Buck is still struggling to figure out how to act around his friends and family. Eddie noticed that Buck hasn't been the same since the incident. He advised Buck to be himself. Eddie emphasized that Buck shouldn't feel the need to put on a facade for others.

Do Chimney And Maddie Have To Go To Jail?

Meanwhile, Chimney and Maddie faced their own troubles as they learn that they are being audited by the IRS. The couple received separate letters from the IRS requesting that they come in for an interview together. They had been doing their taxes individually, but apparently there may have been some mistakes.
Chimney and Maddie later discovered that they had accidentally committed tax fraud due to them both claiming baby Jee-Yun as a dependent and identifying themselves as the head of their household. The couple then sought a tax attorney's advice.
The attorney suggested they get married to save money, but Maddie wasn't sure if she really wants to tie the knot. She didn't share her thoughts with Chimney. Unaware of Maddie's hesitation, Chimney went ring shopping. At the end of the show, Chimney looked at different kinds of engagement rings on his phone, implying that he will propose soon.
