Well-known singer and actor Sting fell victim to a financial consultant who posed as a legitimate investor. According to reports, his financial adviser took millions from him. Reports state that Keith Moore, the victim's trusted financial adviser, defrauded him from $9.4 million. The musician had no idea that Moore had been taking advantage of him for so long.

Similarly, Courtney Love, a well-known musician, and Kurt Cobain's ex-wife, had a trusted acquaintance defraud her of her fortune. As the widow of Nirvana's lead singer, Love was entitled to his estate after his death in 1994. Sadly, Love fell victim to a hoax perpetrated by the couple's trusted financial advisers, who stole her inheritance. The scammers stole an estimated $30 million in cash and $500 million in real estate.

They say her accountants used financial fraud to steal millions of dollars from her. Because of what happened in 2014, Rihanna's fortunes plummeted. Roughly $9 million was stolen from the singer.

Unfortunately for the action hero, he believes he was cheated by his Hollywood financial adviser Kenneth Starr, whom he treated like family. Despite his intimidating movie persona, Sylvester Stallone has been fooled more than once. To hear VanityFair tell it, Starr conned him out of around $10 million. Starr was intentionally sabotaging his finances by offering him terrible advice. In the end, it was determined that Starr had conned Stallone, and he was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.
