1. Wong’s LinkedIn Profile

In the episode, when Jen and Nikki set out to find Wong, Jen found his LinkedIn page. Who would have thought our current Sorcerer Supreme had started out as a Target Sales Associate? Another cool detail is that Wong’s profile also showed us he has one mutual connection with Nikki, and that person was none other than the Hulk himself.2. Is His Name “Wong”?

In the scene when Jen was going through her list of witnesses for Blonsky's parole hearing, Wong’s name was on the top of the list. His name was put in quotation marks as Jen wasn’t 100% sure that was the Sorcerer Supreme’s real name.3. Social Media And Theories

The theorists are wild and they appear everywhere, even in this show. If you squint really hard at the video of The Tattle News reporting on She-Hulk, you can spot some videos titled "She-Hulk not real. Theory," "Super Hero Hoax," and "The Truth about so-called She-Hulk." in the related videos section.4. Call Out The Critics

The episode mocked critics of the show under the disguise of clips and social media posts supposedly from everyday people in the MCU. Many of the online comments complained about "why does every superhero have to be a woman now?". This can be viewed as silly, but actually, the show has been dealing with similar trolls on sites like IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes since its debut.5. Raging Haters

Speaking of haters on social media, the episode featured a livestream talking about She-Hulk. The comments during the livestream also showed us the toxic masculinity of the online trolls. There were many negative comments on our protagonist, as well as someone hoping the topic to change to "endangered lemurs" instead. The haters whined about superheroes being female while commenting how they wanted to ‘cancel’ She-Hulk. Some people really have no shame.6. Mallory Book

If you’re a fan of the She-Hulk comic, chances are you would know Mallory Book. In the comics, Mallory was known as “the face that never loses a case”. She worked with Jen at GLK&H, and later on, the two became rivals as Jen became the top lawyer at the company, replacing Mallory.7. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Reference

If you’re a die-hard fan of the MCU, then you might notice the reference to Spider-Man: No Way Home right away. In the episode, during the talk between Wong and Jen about how he broke Blonsky out of prison, the Sorcerer Supreme told our protagonist that he "not erasing everyone memories". This is a callback to the newest Spider-Man movie where Doctor Strange erased everyone's memories about Peter. But if everybody forgot about that, then how can Wong remember the spell ever happened?8. “Thor: Ragnarok” Callback

Another cool callback is the scene when the elf Runa told us about how Asgard is so much more than a place. She did that by quoting Heimdall in the ending of Thor: Ragnarok, after Asgard is destroyed. Odin also told us the same message about Asgard is its people, not a place earlier in the film, too.9. Origin From She-Hulk comics

Another easter egg that the comic’s fan might find interesting is the origin of the She-Hulk in the comic featured in this episode. When Jen was leaving the prison, a reporter asked if she actually got her Hulk powers from a "Mafia hit gone wrong". If you read the comic, you would know that Jen gained her Hulk powers after a blood transfusion. She was the victim of a hit that went wrong, and Bruce was the only available donor.10. The Wrecking Crew

In the comic books, the Wrecking Crew is a construction group that got superpowers after a lightning strike, and they often go up against Thor. The show gave us hints about this when they said they got their superpowered tools by robbing an Asgardian.11. The Abomination

The episode tied off with Emil Blonsky's release. To clear up any concern that the parole board might have, he transformed into the Abomination at will and retained his own consciousness. While Jen heavily discouraged this, the board seemed convinced enough to release Blonsky as long as he has an inhibitor device on him.12. Megan Thee Stallion Is Canon In This Universe

Similar to Iron Man 2, where Elon Musk very briefly appeared as himself, the show treated us with the unexpected cameo of Megan Thee Stallion. The post-credit scene when Jen dancing to one of her songs in the office showed us that her fangirling goes beyond just Steve Rogers.Share this article
