The Ring Of Power Characters Appeared In Previous Movies

Lord of the Rings: The Ring of Power is the most watched and discussed series on Amazon Prime at the moment. It is a great opportunity for us to be taken back to Middle-earth in the Second Age to witness more of what happened before the War of the Ring.
Let’s have a brief look through the characters that appeared in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogy by Peter Jackson.

#1. Galadriel

The Lady of Lothlórien is the starter of the Lord of the Rings franchise. She plays a vital role in the world of Tolkien. In the Third Age, she and her husband Celeborn are the wisest and most powerful elves remaining. In this Amazon’s series, she is still a soldier and making progress to protect this land. Her journey will be the main screenplay for this series. 

#2. Elrond

Elrond is the King of Rivendell, The Last Homely House East of the Sea. He is another key character in Middle-earth who fought against Sauron in the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. His hometown, Rivendell, is also an important destination which hosts Bilbo and the Dwarves, the White Council and the foundation of the Fellowship of the Ring. 

#3. Gil-galad

Gil-galad had a short appearance, fighting alongside Elrond in the opening prologue of The Fellowship of the Ring. In the book, he was killed violently by Sauron. Beforehand, he was the mightiest High-King of the Elves, the leader of all elves in Middle-earth. As seen from the first episode of The Ring of Power, even Galadriel and Elrond have to bow down in front of him and obey his commands.

Well, without Sauron, there is nothing for us to read and watch. This great villain is undoubtedly the initiator of everything. In this series, we will have the chance to know the origins and creations of the rings of power by how he fooled the elves to listen to his words. Eventually, it is not until the One Ring is completely destroyed with Gollum that Sauron is defeated. 

#5. Isildur

He has not appeared yet is confirmed to be in The Ring of Power series. Isildur was the one who successfully took away the One Ring from Sauron’s hand but he also decided not to destroy it by his greed. Later on, the ring abandoned him and made it way to Gollum, then known as a hobbit named Sméagol.
