31 Chez Cuckoo’s Vintage-based Cartoons That'll Give Off A Dark Vibe For Your Twisted Mind
Every day, a huge number of new comic book creators emerge, but with all the hustle and bustle, many people overlook the comic industry’s veteran creators. Maintaining someone’s status as a comic book creator can be more difficult than achieving it initially. Not everyone can live by the dictum that life moves on, occupations evolve, but the passion for comics must endure. Torbjørn Lien is one of a limited number of those that do, though. It’s incredible how he has managed to continue playing for more than 20 years, and from the looks of things, he has no plans to stop. Watch how he cleverly turns grim events into funny stories with some really good humor!
The creator of the comic book series “Chez Cuckoo,” Torbjørn Lien, is a 54-year-old Norwegian. When he was six years old, he learned to read via the Norwegian Walt Disney comic magazine Donald Duck. As a young child, he consumed comic books on a daily basis. At age 9, he began to create his own. In his hometown of Mosjen, Nordland, where he attended school, he first printed his own drawings for his pals. A national comic magazine published his comics when he was 16 years old. His comic series “Kollektivet,” which started in 2001, is the man’s most well-known work.
Being a cartoonist for virtually all of his life, Lien witnessed the English translation of his two-decade-old comic book series for a global audience to enjoy. However, his relationship with comics goes deeper than that; this is merely the surface of things. His style of humor in comics was greatly affected by the famous American cartoons, Beetle Bailey, Hägar the Horrible, Redeye, Mad Magazine, and Calvin and Hobbes, among others. He has also contributed writing to “Imperum 3000,” a groundbreaking RPG from Norway.
