Marvel Cinematic Universe through the two parts of
Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Recently this race has returned in
The Eternal. Who are they and what are they able to do?
#1. Ego - The First Celestial Introduced

Ego is Peter Quill’s identical godly father. He was around in the universe for millions of years, upgrading himself to a planet from a single brain. Later, Ego found out how to get an avatar as a mortal. Then, he was traveling across the planets to “seed”. Eventually, Peter was his only achievement for this journey.This Celestial was so insanely powerful that he could change reality, attack others with great damage and also withstand any physical attack. Finally, only when Peter and the guardians destroyed his core was he defeated.Ego was not like any other Celestials because how he created lives was different to them.
#2. Arishem The Judge

He made his first appearance in The Eternal. He is the most powerful Celestial who created both the Deviants and the Eternals to his own will. A Celestial’s task is to create its offspring. Otherwise, a new celestial will not be born until the planet it was seeded is fully fueled by the humans living on it. Therefore, the Eternals were sent to Earth to ensure the Emergence of Tiamut.Afterwards, the Eternals on earth found out the truth about the Emergence and about themselves. They allied together to stop this tragedy since they had become so attached to Earth and people living on it.They succeeded, but displeased the Prime Celestial. People on Earth were saved but will face his judgment in the future whether they are worth the protection or not.
#3. Other Mentioned Celestials

Knowhere, where the Collector stayed, is a head of a severed Celestial. He also showed Peter a hologram of Eson the Searcher. He was a Celestial who used the Orb, containing the Power Stone, to destroy an alien race.As The Eternal has been confirmed to return for a sequel, we will meet with Arishem again and hopefully other Celestials to get to know more about this mighty species.
