Veterinarians Of Reddit Remind Owners of What They Shouldn't Ignore About Their Pets
Cats and dogs are affecting our lives in a greater way than we think. Recently, American Animal Hospital Association has conducted a survey on American pet owners and found out the benefits of humans having a relationship with furry companions.
40 percent of female dog owners participating in the survey admitted that they have received more emotional support from their pets than from their husband or their kids. Among two-thirds of owners who are living with their cats and dogs, about 90 percent of them have considered their pets members of their family, and treat them like their own children. We know that cats and dogs have the purest heart on Earth, and they deserve all of our love and care.
The reality is that, however, we often forget to treat them properly. Paying them insufficient attention because of our busy schedule, keeping them in a cage, putting them on a leash in the house, etc. These actions are more or less taking the chance for your pets to live the best quality of their lives. Even the smallest things you do, such as giving them human food, can put your animals at risk.
