Pretty Sure This Is Why Women Live Longer
It's a fact that women live longer than men, regardless of location. Surprisingly, this is only the case in today's time and age. The data from rich countries show that in the 19th century, women didn't have this advantage. So, how do women live much longer than men today, and how does this advantage increase over the years? Many factors affect the lifespan of a person. And according to scientific research, biological, behavioral, and also environmental factors all contribute to the fact that women live longer than men.
Well, so we know who is favored by God here. We know that humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes, with one of those deciding the gender. Those are the X and Y chromosomes, also known as the sex chromosomes, determine the biological sex of an individual: females inherit an X chromosome from the father for a XX genotype, while males inherit a Y chromosome from the father for an XY genotype (mothers only pass on X chromosomes). In humans, the X chromosome contains more genes than the Y. So individuals having a XX genotype are genetically healthier.
Ah yes, what's more, men usually don't care too much about what we call safety. They are born to be the men in this world, fear nothing, and never step back. But the reality tells us that they're still humans, from flesh and bones. And if they take the risk and fail, the cost is probably their lives. Do they see that it's dangerous? Yes, perhaps. So why do they still do it? Hard to tell. Maybe that's how they do? Men often (un)intentionally put themselves in such nerve-racking, dangerous situations doing completely normal stuff. If only there was another way to get that thing done without risking your life, man. Well, pretty sure this is why women live longer than men. This is it. Period.
