Woman Asks If She's Overreacting While Yelling At Neighbor's Kid To Get Away From Her Dogs, Redditors Support Her

If you are walking your dogs and a kid suddenly comes and hugs them, what will you do? You simply can let the kid pet your dogs, but it doesn't mean you mustn't say a "NO" to any child who wants to approach your canines. User @HotButterscotch8682 has unhesitantly told a kid to get away from her dogs when he came to hug them, for which she received a lot of thanks from Redditors.
The boy lived pretty near to her house, and his parents are her neighbors. When he noticed her and her two dogs on a walk, he ran toward the dogs and started grabbing them. @HotButterscotch8682 screamed "GET AWAY FROM MY DOGS, DO NOT TOUCH MY DOGS" trying to separate the boy from her canines. On one hand, she didn't like the kid approaching her dogs. On the other hand, she was protecting him because her dogs might get scared and bite him.
Then, the child's father showed up and started yelling at her for shouting at his 7-year-old child and overreacting. OP asked Reddit if she was really an a**hole in behaving like that.

Instead of blaming her, most netizens criticized the parent who seemed to misguide his baby and be too overprotective.

Some people admitted they felt happy for the boy as OP's dog didn't attack him.
