However, things have become harder for them after OP lost his job four months ago. They can't pay for their daily expenses, and the savings they've saved is not enough to enable them to continue renting their apartment. While they're facing a thirty-day eviction, they desperately look for a flat within their budget, but that's really difficult.
Even after they can find an apartment, they can't move in because it doesn't allow dogs. OP has tried suggesting selling her GF's dog several times, but she denies it. Therefore, he decides to find his GF's dog a new home without her knowing. When she learns it, she is extremely sad.
