OP Disciplined Nephew For Riding On Her Dog, But His Mother Came In And Pissed Off On OP
Some owners believe it's important to set boundaries for their dogs. This includes training dogs on how to behave properly around people in public places to avoid any possible bites or attacks. Besides, some people also teach their kids appropriate interactions with their dogs.
Children and dogs share one thing in common - they are both unable to control their emotions, behaviors, and they both need to be trained. Reddit user @Artistimpersonator is well-aware of this, and she teaches both her babies and her 3-month-old puppy. When her dog stays around children, it isn't allowed to nip, pull clothes or chase them. And the kids mustn't pull the dog's ear/tail, or sit/ride on it.
Therefore, when she saw her 2-year-old nephew riding on her dog, she disciplined him in front of his mom (her sister). The mom got mad and started blaming her an a**hole for being too strict with her nephew and making him cry because of a dog.
Therefore, @Artistimpersonator asked Reddit if she was really on the wrong side.
