Reddit Supports Man Who Lets Scary Cat Stay Around Children

Guys, if you read this post, we hope that you love all cats no matter how they look and what their color is. Statistics have shown that black cats and those with deformities or disabilities are lower in chance of getting adopted from shelters. We prefer adorable cats, but we often forget that these unfortunate souls need our love and care more than anyone else.
Luckily, there are still people who pay attention to poor animals. Redditor @thowraepickitty452 decided to adopt a black three-legged cat he met at a shelter 3 years ago, while others might refuse to do the same.
He loved the little cat, and the two became attached to each other. This week, his sister and her family moved into OP's city. She needed someone to take care of her kids while she and her husband prepared for their party, so OP offered to help.
The kids felt happy to play with OP's cat although they were a little scared at first. But here is how the problem started. When OP's sister saw the cat, she freaked out and started yelling at OP for having that 'scary' cat around her children. She talked to her husband who also agreed that OP had to take his cat away.

The post gained 14.2K upvotes and 2K comments when it was shared on Reddit. A lot of people came in to support OP. They claimed that his cat was a beautiful little angel, and that he wasn't an a**hole for having it around kids. It was the sister and her husband that were wrong to insult a poor cat for how it looked.

Here are some of their responses.
