Poor eyesight is the reason behind countless awkward incidents. Mistaking a stranger with one of your friends seems like the most common. And it’s embarrassing, every time. You wave and shout and run to them, sometimes even give a pat on their shoulder. You only realize when it’s already too late. Poor soul. I’ve done that several times. And each time it happens, I hope the ground swallows me up. Anyway, I think my mistake is nothing compared to this man.
When humorist Aaron Reynolds tried out his new evening ritual, he would leave all the tech behind to chill in a hammock, with some music, in his backyard. But this time, it went hilariously wrong. He was quite into coaxing his cat into the hammock to enjoy the evening ritual with him. But like, the backyard was dark, and he didn’t have good eyesight. So, that evening, when he thought that his cat finally got interested in chilling out with him, he mistakenly invited in a raccoon instead.
He noticed that his cat climbed onto the hammock in a “not very cat-like way.” However, man could be sure as he didn’t see well in the dark. Anyway, when their eyes met, he realized that he had made a mistake. So, let’s scroll down to read the full story in his viral Twitter thread below.
