Woman Is Called Out For Jokingly Saying To Her Pregnant Colleague "A Dog Can Give Birth"
It's hard to deny the concern and nervousness a woman has been dealing with until they safely give birth to a child. Pregnancy is challenging. Birth-giving is difficult and risky. But not all men in the world can understand how dangerous it is. Sadly, women sometimes don't understand women, too. A Reddit user called @3hjaf has complained with the whole Internet after a female colleague kept telling her how hard it is to overcome her pregnancy and raise her newborn baby every single day. And that bothered OP (original poster) a lot.
OP ended up jokingly saying to the colleague "A dog can give birth too", thinking that she would find it funny and stop talking about it. However, she didn't think it was fun at all and started feeling offensive. The post has gained 8K upvotes and more than two thousand comments on the last count.

We can understand what it felt like for OP to hear about the same thing day by day, but it didn't mean that she could disrespect her co-worker.If she didn't want to listen to her stories, she could simply show she didn't want to and leave the conversation.
As a woman, didn't she know how difficult it is for childbirth and motherhood? That was absolutely not a joke.
Even a man can sympathize with pregnant women and those who have given birth. What a shame if OP can't!
In addition, it was obviously offensive to compare a human to a dog. OP's behaviors showed her thoughtlessness and disrespect for her colleague. The whole Reddit agreed that she was an a**hole and should be sorry for what she just spoke out.
Maybe she was missing her child.
